What Mojo Upgrade is
Mojo Upgrade is the questionnaire most couples get sent first. Each of you answers on your own, it compares the two sets, and it shows only the lines where you both said yes. Everything either of you said no to stays hidden. Results arrive by email once both of you have finished. It has been around since 2011, its privacy policy is dated 2018, and its store link no longer works.
The hidden reveal is the whole idea, and for a lot of couples it is the right idea: nobody has to see the other person's noes.
What the Menu does differently
- You fill it in together. Both answers sit on the same line, hers and his, and you can see them land as you go.
- Five tiers, vanilla to depraved, so the far end is on the list and not left to guesswork.
- Two phones in sync, live, or one screen passed between you. Same bed or different cities.
- Nothing goes by email. Answers stay on your phones; we count anonymous totals of what couples want most, nothing tied to you.
- It leads somewhere. What you both circle points at a story you play together, and at the Boundaries Talk if one scenario is getting serious.
Which one is for you
If the thought of seeing each other's noes is the thing stopping you, use Mojo Upgrade, Carnal Calibration or We Should Try It. They all reveal only the matches, and they do it well.
If the talk is the point, if you want to see where you split and why, and if you want the two of you answering in the same room, use the Menu.
Mojo Upgrade not showing results?
Mojo's results page waits for both partners to finish and then sends a link by email, so a missing email or a partner who did not complete the questionnaire leaves the page empty. Retry the link from the email, or start again in a different browser. The Menu never has that step: answers are on the screen as you tap, and a summary of where you match sits at the bottom.
